On Monday 16th February 2026, I was rushed to hospital after suddenly becoming seriously unwell. What I initially thought might be something minor very quickly turned into a life-threatening emergency.
My appendix had burst, causing a severe infection and gangrene. Things escalated fast, and I was taken straight into a 4-hour emergency operation to deal with the damage and prevent the situation from becoming even worse.
In this video, I explain exactly what happened, how quickly things deteriorated, and where I’m currently at in my recovery. It was genuinely a close call, and I wanted to be open about why I suddenly disappeared and what I’ve been dealing with behind the scenes.
